My PS Regimen (until Christmas)

I will keep my hair protected in Senegalese twists until Christmas to give my hair a break!
Keeping it super-duper simple.

Prior to twist install
  1. Apply Hair Doctor to scalp and let sit for 20 minutes
  2. Wash with Yes to Carrots shampoo
  3. Protein treat with ApHogee 2-Step
  4. DC with whatever I have around
  5. Braid hair into 10-12 plaits to dry overnight
  6. Blow-out on cool in the morning and trim (if necessary)
  7. Have twists installed

Bi-Monthly (twice per month)
  1. Wash scalp with Yes to Carrots shampoo
  2. Condition with V05
During the week, I will spray the twists with whatever liquid leave-in spray I have around to keep them moisturized as needed (usually every 2 days).
In the two weeks between installs, I will continue to PS by wearing two-strand twists in my own hair, wet bunning, or wigging.

After (or right before) every install, I will lightly blow out my hair on the cool setting so that I can dust my ends with my Split-Ender. Since I have fine hair that is very prone to splits, I will do this to keep them at bay and my ends healthy. Trimming up to .25" 6 times a year adds up, but I would rather work towards retaining 4.5" per year instead of going for the full 6" and ending up having to cut away 2-3" anyway because of damaged ends.

Trim Schedule (according to Lunar Chart):
    June 3
    September 6 or 7
    December 3

NOTE: I am on a personal no-straightening challenge until Christmas, when I will attempt to even up my hair. After that, I will not straighten again until I believe I have reached a milestone (ie. BSL, MBL, and WL)
